IEROS Air Sanitizer produces ultrasonic mist through a piezoelectric transducer. The transducer vibrates at ultrasonic frequencies (usually 1-2 MHz) this generates rapid oscillations of the water at the surface. The mechanical energy from these high frequency oscillations leads to Cavitation. In cavitation bubbles are formed and implode rapidly, breaking up the water into an ultrafine mist of droplets, typically around 1-5 microns in diameter.
